I Thought I Saw You
I THOUGHT I SAW YOU.
The lessons I am learning, in the process of moving, are giant and undeniable.
I’m learning that my lens was a bit cloudy, and I saw a lot of people through soft filters.
In this decision to move, clearing space and loading the pod, the reactions are strong.
Some, tripping over themselves to help, moving appointments and finding sources to ease our process.
Old friends, those I haven’t talked to in years, reaching out with words to cheer me on and support me.
And then there are those who’ve been in my life, staples really, who are turning away, some not even waving hello, and that part feels like divorce.
Because often times, divorce removes your believed, trusted best friend. It takes away your rock, your hope.
I’ll be scaling back a bit with live classes in July and August, but I’ll be writing more about this experience.
They say the most overwhelming life actions are birth, death, and moving.
I’m yielding, surrendering and sharing my experience with you, these next few months.
When people show you who they are, believe them. — Maya Angelou
Show me who you are.
